Dear Lilly,
Sorry for not writing to you for such a long time! Talking about time, managing my time is something that has been quite challenging for me lately. But I can say that everything is doing fine. Last weekend we took the road to Alentejo and headed to the city of Monsaraz to celebrate my birthday. Monsaraz is a small medieval village in the top of a hill, just near the Portuguese border with Spain. It is a place filled with history, cute white houses and stone walls. From the top of the Monsaraz castle, you find a breathtaking view. From one side the beautiful scenery of the Alqueva reservoir and on the other the typical landscape of Alentejo, with olive fields and vineyards as far as the eyes can see. The atmosphere invites you to contemplation and photographing, the two things I love doing, especially nowadays when we keep rushing all the time. We had a lovely weekend and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday!  I can’t stop dreaming about when we will be able to go back there! And you? Tell me what you have been doing. Love, Cris
